Peters Mill Run OHV - First time offroad in the Big Bend

Took the family offroading in the Bronco for the first time on Saturday. Started with a great trail that would ease the kids (three little ladies) into the offroading experience. Peters Mill Run in Virginia is beautiful and didn't disappoint. Stock Broncos can navigate this route without issues, though may not be able to tackle some of the "play area" features. Here are a few photos from the journey. As you can see from one of the photos, it was my Big Bend in a sea of Jeeps. I saw one other Bronco on the trail and our excitement to see each other was like greeting long lost family.

how do you like those tires? they fling a lot of rocks underneath like the goodyear wranglers?

Ran into @bigbender on the trail! It was awesome. There were probably 100 Jeeps out there and two Broncos, but everyone was interested in the Broncos. My poor buddy in a Toyota had to wait for me to have a Bronco-themed conversation about 20 times

Edit: Also, both Broncos were 7-speeds!

Grabbers did great! As most All Terrain decisions boil down, you are left with KO2s and the Grabbers. General had a $100 rebate, so the choice was made.

As far as flinging rocks.. probably about the same as the Goodyears.

For real. I passed someone today (first time) and whoever I passed waved like I had never seen anyone wave before. Him and his passenger.

Thanks! They are 33s (285/70R17) on wheels with a +30 offset.

285/70R17.. so roughly 33s. I love them but didn't fully appreciate the fuel economy kick in the nuts that would ensue. Lady bronco went from 21.5 to just shy of 19.

Ya, that’s a hefty change. I’m thinking of doing the same but maybe just a wider 32” like the Grabbers that come on the BDs
