First long trip in Big Bend

One way four hour trip to Watoga State park in West Virginia. We me, wife and 14y/o son, 3 bikes, case of water and all our clothes and fishing gear. The ride was very comfortable and steering was great. I say this because wife has a 2018 stock Sahara Wrangler that steering isn’t great. I will say the 2.3 engine that is very adequate did show a little tiny struggle with all this weight. A little more down shifting and the cruise control would drop a mph or 2 before pulling back to set speed. But otherwise it was comfortable and plenty of room and took the top down to ride around once we got there and it was wonderful.

I added a Pedal Commander to my Big Bend. Really changes the responsiveness. 2.3 impressed me but I get what you are saying. It was a quick install and made my daily driving and long trips a little more fun.
