The dealer replaced my driver's door latch. Now I get road and wind noise from the driver's side. I think the latch needs adjusting so the door closed just a little tighter. Comparing it with the other doors, it seems that it needs to close about 1 mm tighter.
I'll take it back Monday and talk...
I pulled up the windshield cowl to run some wires. I think I have it back down. All the clips in front seem to be snapped in and the weather strip is firm against the windshield. The cowl flutters from wind when I get over 35 mph or so. I taped the front down on the right and left sides and the...
Sanderson Ford is hosting a Bronco Round-Up Saturday, November 15 from 9am to 1pm. Enter off Maryland Ave. (5111 W Maryland Ave, Glendale)
This is part of Operation Santa Claus. Bring non-perishable food, new toys or children's clothing to get a chance to win a new vehicle.
About a week ago we had several days of rain. My keyless entry stopped working for my passenger door and tail gate. After a day or two without rain it started working again. I did not drive my Bronco during that time.
The dealer can't fix it now because it's no longer broken. Does anyone have...
Bronco6G and most other forums won't let you post a pin from Google Earth, but you can copy and paste latitude and longitude. This will let you transfer locations to and from Google Maps and Google Earth, and maybe other programs.
I'd love to know other methods of sharing locations.
Like many on here, I need to ground some low power circuits. The Equipment installation Guide says to not use existing grounding points, but I think it's referring to high current accessories such as a winch. I know many people just use an existing ground, which is probably OK if it's not too...
I live in Phoenix. None of the local stores carry windshield washer fluid for temperatures below 32. They're all marked 32+. So time for some research.
Methanol is used as an anti-freeze for windshield washer fluid. Heet in the yellow bottle is 100% methanol. I checked the SDS. Do not get the...
I'm getting my Bronco ceramic coated. The shop says they've done a number of Broncos with the MIC hard top without any problems.
I've had no problems with my top but I don't want to give Ford any excuse to deny a future claim. It seems to be a good idea to let them ceramic coat it. The resin...
I'm having my Bronco ceramic coated. They're also doing the windshield, windows, grill and mirrors (other than glass). I have the High Package which includes 360 cameras.
My question, should I let them do the four cameras or should I tape them off?
There's an unused connector C9531 inside the overhead console. It's 12 V and connected to a 5A fuse. I'd like to hook something to it, does anyone know the Ford part number for a mating connector so I can do a clean job?
It's labeled USB charge port overhead console. I think it's a 4 pin...
I'm thinking about getting a ceramic coating applied by Bob Moses. They use Sensha coating which they say is SiO2 for what it's worth. The treatment includes paint correction, iron removal, and other steps. They'll give it a seven year warranty and say I don't need to do any maintenance other...
I was approaching an intersection. The lanes in the road shifted to the right. I followed the lane markings. A Nissan Sentra that was passing me on the right didn't. He kept going straight. I heard a rubbing noise as he went by.
He wasn't going to stop, but the light changed. He got out and...
Everyone is talking about what tools we should have before leaving pavement. I haven't seen much discussion about recommended spare parts. I think the spare parts list should dictate which tools are carried.
For example, what's needed to replace the belts? What's needed to replace a tie rod...
