Oh, wow. Yeah, that wasn't on their site last month.
Honestly, my OVS 270 awning doesn't even come that far forward on the bronco, so it won't rest directly on that bracket like it shows in the picture. However, I bet that brace will be helpful for preventing rattle when offroading or going...
Ok. Message me when you get ready and will give you some info if I haven’t posted mine by then, but hopefully will have a detailed post by then and can just tag you in it.
it was quite simple install overall. Most challenging part was getting Bronco to fit in garage with awning on. I had an...
That is an install of an OVS awning with factory roof rails. I was looking for OVS 270 on a Trailrax TRMR rack, but I got mine installed on my 4 door last weekend and @ElDuderino got the LT OVS awning installed on his 2 door.
I used the 3 trailers brackets to install mine, but @ElDuderino came...
I know. I haven't found ANYTHING online that shows the Trailrax rack, and their brackets being combined with the OVS 270.
I just found a auto machine shop that is milling my brackets down for me today about 1.25 inch so I should be able to fit the bronco in the garage when mounted. I will post...
Mine gets worse gas mileage in the winter. Over 1 mpg better in summer when warm vs winter when cold in my region. Not sure how much of that is because of actual temp difference or if it is mostly because of the winter gas blend is different than summer blend.
I believe Ford says weight limit is 600. I stand on mine all the time to access the roof rack for mounting stuff. I guess two full size adults are safe to stand or sit on it same time. That is what it is made to be used for. Lol
Umm…it is great. Probably accessory I use the most. Great for sitting in, standing on and when camping use to it to slide stuff onto when need to move things around and grab something g out of a bag. Pairs well with tailgate table and levels
Floor for use with my DeepSleep mats.
So far what I figured out is my first step is I need to mill down the Trairax brackets a little over an inch if I want my Bronco to still fit in my garge when the brackets are mounted. Secondly, I need to widen the holes/slots after taking measurements so that the M8 bolt that comes with the OVS...
I have the Nomadic 270 awning (driver side) and just got 2 Trailrax Modular Roof Rack 90 brackets and 1 270 degree awning bracket (driver side) and am looking for someone who has done this install already to answer a few questions or can provide pictures of how they mounted the brackets to the...
After doing a considerable amount of research over the last month before I install my rack in a couple of weeks, here are some of the best options I have come up with as far as mounting solutions. I hope this helps you and many other forum goers, as it took a lot of time to figure it as someone...
Mine always says door ajar if don’t shut hard. Definitely seems like have to shit harder than any other vehicle I have owned previously. Same with tailgate.
