Heritage Edition with Trailrax roof rack

If anyone was like me, and very curious as to what the HE looks like with a big rack on top here you go. I didn’t want to throw off the old school look but I think it looks great. The @TrailRax TRMR is very high quality as well. Happy with my decision, completely.

I think the black accents made it look even better.
The Pakrax gives it a little character, better than having an all white hump at the back.
I'm willing to bet it'll look even better with the red Rotopax jugs on one side.
Can't decide what I want to see on the other yet.

Nice! Have same Bronco and like you want to keep it original old school as much as possible. BTW … I am from TX too and riding without my front plates - don’t want to drill :\

They sell a relocation bracket for front plate that lowers it off the grill and is a no drill solution. I have it on mine.

I almost went with this rack but opted for the Rakket rack instead because it allows me to completely remove middle section easily and the back tower comes off when Hardtop is removed. That makes it easy to completely remove so I can have entire top off when I want which was important to me.

Bronco is named Hope so the badge was both necessary and fitting.

Yea light bar in near future. Will probably be something similar to KC.

Biggest thing that made me get the TrailRax (with pack rax) was the higher weight ratings. I have a family of 5 and I’m assuming all three kids are gonna want to crawl up there in the tent.

With the Trailrax, I figured out that if you leave the front wind deflector on and unscrew from the sides of the wind deflector, I can get the rest of the rack off in under 20 min. Getting it back on took slightly longer but it was still relatively easy since the hardest part was the wind deflector.

To take off:
Take PakRax off completely, unscrew from sides of wind deflector, undo the top clamps, and that's it.

To install:
Line up rack with front wind deflector (hardest part), screw those in, clamp the backs, install PakRax, and voila.
