  1. Simple and inexpensive door storage

After some experimenting I have what is turning out to be an incredibly inexpensive wall mount that is very secure. the Front and back doors are about 42" wide and I think 38' tall I took an old piece of 11" particle board shelving and attached to the wall with 10" heavy duty L brackets ($7.99...
  2. On Road Shock Recommendation

I am a typical suburban driver. The closest I come to offroad is turning around on grass or a dirt country road. Love my '22 Base 4 door but at 30K miles it seems to really not like any pothole and hits oddly hard. Given I am on-road 99% , is there a shock anyone would recommend for a smoother...
  3. Seat covers / heated seats installed for $250

Extremely happy with the seat heat kit and covers. Need extra tape for heating pads (over old cloth seats) and the covers are a little time consuming. I put in dryer on low heat for 10 min - helped. https://a.co/d/b5PL585 https://a.co/d/dM1CvpJ
  4. BFG All Terrain K02 rain performance.

I have 285 BFG ATs on a 2022 4 door V6. I don’t off-road at all but like the look. Is it me or are they absolutely horrible and actually dangerous on wet pavement. If I am at a stop on a slight hill and give it gas I can spin them forever. A 20mph right turn on a residential street causes spin...
  5. Installed Kicker speakers, Kenwood amp and Pyle sub

Not looking to blow my doors off so did a simple upgrade. The kicker 4 and 6” in front, kicker 6 in mabett pods in back all went in easy. Kenwood 4x100 under driver seat. Pyle powered sub on tailgate. Forscan eq reset does have an effect. Sounds decent, plenty loud and didn’t break the bank.
  6. Rough Country Push Bar installed

I always liked a basic push bar and for the price, I think the RC is a decent deal. It had 4 tabs for lights but I removed the middle two with a grinder to mount license plate using two rubber pipe hangers. All works pretty well. Lights on bar are 6” Hella 500’s
  7. Soft Top Rear Window Storage Rack

SUPPLIES 1 - 1” x 5” x 8’ board (can be smaller) 10 - 3/4” webbing strips about 3-4” long with hole in each end 10 - 3/4” female plastic buckles 10 - #10 3/4” screws 10 - #10 fender washers I have some hanging racks in garage and one had a 8’ 1x5 in it which gave me an idea to use the buckles...
  8. Forscan Tire Size adjustment causing service notice and 4wd warning

Looking for some help or advice. I very carefully disabled double honk and then changed the circumference of my tires to the new 285s (I have a base model). I now am seeing a service notification and check 4wd alert when starting. If I go into Forscan it lists a number of errors that I cannot...
  9. Forscan rear, tailgate subwoofer, amp and rear quarter panel speakers

I replaced all 4 4” speakers. Based on posts, I’d like to run the Forscan mod so I can tap into a full signal on rear speakers wires for an amp and powered sub. I’d also like to put some 6 or 8” speakers in quarter panels as a) I think the plastic can handle a regular speaker weight wise and b)...
  10. Fog lights for Base Model

I just got a base 4 door and have been looking for fog lights. I’m going a little old school look, eg, keeping steelies but with 285’s. See picts as fillows - fog light oem part with no lens/bulb that has no bulb or lens and is $184 - $33 pair from Amazon with yellow lens and no bulb - $17.99...
  11. Install Power Heated Ford Seats after sale?

When I did the math between a base 4 door and a Big Bend it came to about 9K between a base with V6 and aux switches and a Big Bend with 4cyl and mid package. That really means I’m missing fog lights, power and heated seats and a grab handle. More or less as I am changing wheels and tires...
