I received an email from Ford to purchase the hardtop about a week and a half ago. There’s nothing about the Ford Mic hardtop that has any appeal so an easy pass for me. First night reservation and I dropped the hardtop to get a build date. 9/4/21 build and 10/14/21 delivery.
Ok. It never occurred to me that the OEM does not have a latch. I have a soft top. I thought there might be something to at least hold it in place. It sounds like you do not hear any rattles as a result of no latch.

For those of you that have received your tops, can you share your thoughts on the rear hatch and what holds it in place when closed? How does it secure? I am just curious since I found out today that there is no latch.

Did you ever make the swap to 35's? I plan on swapping the sasquatch wheels for a set of the Badlands optional wheels when the Goodyears wear out. I think I will try 35x11.5x17 tires.
Did you ever install your optional wheels? How did it work out? I bought a used set and will swap them on with my first tire change for the sasquatch wheels. It will be a while since I only have 26,000 miles on mine and do a 5 wheel rotation. I may go to a 35x11.5x17 to remedy the rub issue.
I wonder what all the phillips head screws attach to. They appear to be a small size and have the force of the tight latches on them. A question for Todd would be if they screw only into the fiberglass shell and core layer and not a fitting/insert?
