From looking at my soft top hardware those mount above rear doors. When the top is raised there is a spring clip that latches to those brackets to keep the top locked into the roll bar. Also holds the top in place when sunrider feature is open.

Pretty easy. Hardest part is running the electric and all depends on how clean you want to make your connections. I’m a stickler for clean wiring so took my time and did inline splices (with solder, heat shrink tubing and glue gun) to keep everything neat.

Thanks. I suppose one reason for AUX switches is I can leave the switch on and they will always be on. Day or night. Or I can choose to turn off when I want. Vs DRL which are only on when DRLs are on and will turn off when headlights turn off?

I have switches available. That’s not the issue. I just want to hear peoples reason for using one source vs another. For example “don’t use parking lights because they are always on 100% of the time day or night”.
