  1. Tire size question for the OBX community (Toyo vs General vs Falken)

I've posted quite a bit on tires and hopefully this is the last before I make a purchasing decision, but I think I'm about at the decision point. However, I wanted to question the OBX community on tire size, based on their current setups. I'm riding a non-sas OBX, and am between three final tire...
  2. Any modifications needed for 285/70/18 (or 285/75/17) tires?

We are just about wrapped up with the snow season here in Colorado, and I am looking to purchase a set of larger tires for the rest of the year (I have separate snow tires). As the title mentions, I am conflicted between what would make more sense between a 275/70/18 (33.2") tire and 285/70/18...
  3. Question on Upgrading non-Sas OBX tires - Load Range & Size

Very helpful - appreciate the advice. I've had the car for 1.5 years with relatively limited off-roading use, primarily for (1) camping or (2) access to more remote hiking spots within the area. Seems that would fit the category for not real "off roading", but also understand any trail that has...
  4. Question on Upgrading non-Sas OBX tires - Load Range & Size

Thanks for the information. KO2 was 100% my first choice, but the E load definitely seems a bit overboard for what I'm needing. I hear back and forth as to what using that means for the ride relative to an SL/P 4-ply. But obviously a trade-off considering durability.
  5. Question on Upgrading non-Sas OBX tires - Load Range & Size

After about 1.5 years of driving with the stock tires on my non-sas OBX, I'm finally deciding to upgrade my tires ahead of the Colorado Winter. Currently I'm looking to upgrade to 275/70/18 tires as to avoid the cost/hassle of replacing the stock 18 inch rims (I really wish OBX had 17...). Due...
  6. Necessity of snow/winter tires in CO?

Thanks, everyone. I appreciate the feedback. Though I thought it'd be nice to save some $$$ with year-round tires, I ultimately agree that its a safer/wiser bet to go with the snow tires. And potentially a cost saver in spreading the miles across two sets versus one. It seems like Nokian are...
  7. Necessity of snow/winter tires in CO?

Similar to the title, this is my first year up from the south and living in a state with an actual winter. I wanted to gather opinions as to what tires you use during the winter, whether you use dedicated snow tires (I hear Nokian is good) or just stick with all-terrain. For context, I live in...
  8. Newbie Question for Tire Upgrade on Non-Sas Bronco

As the title mentions, I've had my Bronco for about a year and a half and I am finally looking to make my first upgrade (I'll withstand the jokes that come my way for waiting this long...). I'm looking to upgrade the stock tires (OBX; non-sas) to 35" ahead of the winter. I have been looking...
  9. Question for 2.3L Tire Upgrade

  10. California FS: Modular Bumper

Similar to those above, I'd be willing to pay for freight/shipping on top of asking price (to Dallas, TX). Can go slightly above if needed.
  11. Interesting engine sounds after extended driving (~30 mins)

Got it, that is good to know. In that case I'll keep a close eye on everything. At the moment I don't warning have any signs on the dashboard and acceleration/boost seems to be the same as when I first drove it, but that can obviously change any instant. It's helpful to know this has been a...
  12. Interesting engine sounds after extended driving (~30 mins)

That is helpful to know. Did you notice any changes when driving the Bronco other than just the sound of the turbo/engine? Right now my hesitation is only on the sound, and fortunately (so far) have not experienced any check engine lights and/or changes to the driving performance.
  13. Interesting engine sounds after extended driving (~30 mins)

I appreciate the insight, that is definitely good to hear. And 100% agree that the 'ticking' is incredibly annoying despite it not necessarily being an issue, so I may take up your advice there. Thanks again!
  14. Interesting engine sounds after extended driving (~30 mins)

Hey all. I'm a relatively new Bronco owner (purchased in early April), and so far it's been a pretty great experience. However, there is one aspect of the 2.3L engine that I wanted to post on here, in hopes that those with more Bronco/car knowledge may be able to provide some valuable insight...
  15. Build/Blend Date versus Listing Date Concern

Thank you all for the insight - that definitely helps the concern I had over the gap in timeframe between build and listing. Here's hoping it continues to be a solid purchase!
  16. Build/Blend Date versus Listing Date Concern

I closed on a 2021 Ford Bronco yesterday at my local dealership, and so far things are running fairly well. However, upon looking back at the window sticker for the vehicle, it shows the blend/build date as of 12/8/2021. This has made me a little uneasy, as the vehicle wasn't listed at the...
