Upfitter switches come from the factory as ignition hot. With that said, I did rewire switches #5&6 on my wife’s BL to be hot at all times (I really just needed switch 6 constant hot but it’s either have switches 1-4 and/or 5-6 constant hot, unable to do individually). Her oracle grill lights are hooked to switch 5. She knows to turn them off when parking in the garage or elsewhere at night and hasn’t forgot yet!I don't have my bronco yet, but it will be equipped with the upfitter switches. are these switches always powered or do they come on with the ignition switch? if the latter it might be easiest just to run these lights off one of those switches. you could then easily switch it off when you don't want it or just leave it on and let it come on with the ignition. if they are all always on, that would not work so well.
