Probably, especially if you are going with the larger tires. I think we will know a lot more when folks get their Broncos and experiment with different wheel/tire combinations.

There was a 4WP build with procomp lift showing 37x12.50's on the sasquatch wheels, so maybe that combination works without rubbing (not sure if the build was fully functional, or just for a photo op).
I'm getting a Base and will be upgrading the wheels/tires immediately - thinking that a +30 offset will be the sweet spot to allow a bit of extra clearance with larger tires. Right now there aren't many aftermarket wheels with the correct offset/bore size/bolt pattern but hopefully that changes later this year when Broncos start getting delivered.

Yes, both of those. The forging process aligns the grain of the material in ways that allow for the wheels to be made with thinner cross sections while offering superior strength at lower weights.

The next step down would be a newer process called rotary forged. With those the center sections of the wheels (spokes) are cast but the barrel of the wheel is drawn in a forging like process. This gives you some of the strength benefits of a forged wheel but at not quite the weight savings due to using the cast centers.

Lastly, there is cast in which molten metal is poured into a mold. Since the grain is fairly randomized the structural portions must be much thicker to maintain a sufficient strength. There is also the issue of porosity or air getting trapped during the pouring process. This can be alleviated to some degree by several methods such as applying vacuum or pressure. But areas where those voids from porosity form can lead to premature failure if pushed too hard.

Thanks once again to the Stig, and Ashely for some great information. BTW Ashley @618TRVLWILD, I don't know what job title the Stg has, but do you think he needs any help. :)

That's exactly what I was thinking MC. With the OBX (that I'm ordering) the wheels are 18x7.5 +55. I haven't seen an aftermarket wheel even close. The horror.....the horror. :)

What we gonna do?

Not true. You need to check out https://titan-7.com/

I run these my Raptor and they are freaking awesome. Yes you can buy American made forged wheels to make yourself feel better BUT prepare to pay 4k and UP.
