I called ford and she told me I have a VIN and gave it to me. She told me I don't have a production date but it would be sometime in march.

Nothing on backdoor or email. Vehicle tracker not working.

Dealer hadn’t gotten back to me so I called the Ford help desk and was told I had a VIN, but they couldn’t give me a build date.

The salesman got back to me recently and let me know I am scheduled for the build week of 3/14!

Either I got lucky, or the constraints are lifting a little. Hopefully my build week doesn’t get pushed 33 times.

Dealer texted, so I called Ford to verify. She gave me the VIN and build date for mine. Still quite shocked. I didn't think I had a snowball's chance at hell at getting built anytime soon.

I wonder if "parts being pulled" means "we are trying to get enough parts together to schedule your order", which they could honestly tell every single person with a reservation.

In other words, I wonder if it means nothing but they say it to calm the customer.

Yeah - only I didn't call in to ask if I was scheduled. I called in under the guise of wanting to make sure my order was in place. She is the one that volunteered the information and guidance. Idk - was going to remove commodity constraints today until I called. Guess I will wait a bit longer to do that.

When you get scheduled you will get a VIN and you will get a production week.

production week ... Ford prod week ALWAYS start on a Monday. So your production week could be March 7 .. which is a Monday. BTW .. prod weeks can be moved for several reasons like commodity issues.

Once your prod week date gets closer, you will be assigned a build day. Also referred as a blend date ... the date in which all the items that makes up your vehicle (chasis, body, engine/driveline) gets blended together.

So in the above example, you prod week is march 7 with a build day of Friday, March 11

one last item, your window sticker will appear online 7 days before your build day.

No updates on Ford.com Texted dealer, I'm finally scheduled. 3/7/21. 7/14 ordered.

He said only 3 were pulled out of 50+ All of them did not have tow. I removed tow 2 months ago.

I just got the email from my awesome dealer with VINs and build dates for both mine and my buddy's identical broncos. We reserved 7/15/20 and first ordered 10/18/21(waited for Eruption Green)
build dates 2/28 and 3/14

Nothing yet on the backdoor link and no email from ford.

2-door Eruption Green, 2.3L 7-speed, Badlands, beadlocks, high pkg, modular bumper, roof rails and tow.

She asked for my sales code and order code. I had no reservation. I ordered in October. Call your dealer and ask for your DORA or Preview order form with that info.

The exact same thing happened to me. Call your dealer and they will most likely have a build date for you.

The dealer allocation model is so jacked up. Ford should be building them in order. Hope yours gets chosen soon. #MatchingBroncos
