I switched dealers early this month. My original $100 was refunded once I switched, and I was expecting a new charge once my reservation hit the new dealership but it never did. I asked the employee who ordered it for me (family friend) and he said I had nothing to worry about. I did get the email from Ford congratulating me on my order and that it was a success. Should I be worried or am I being too worrisome? I've saved up around half of the total it's gonna cost (29k) since my reservation so I just want to be as sure as possible.

Also, at my dealership, I'm in the high teens out of 40. Any guesses if I could get it pretty late this year? I ordered on 7/23. I know I have some options on my order with possible delays, but doesn't hurt to ask.

Mine went in today and Ford email confirmation just now. 2 door base in velocity blue with the 2.7tt. Original reservation 7/14/20 moved to Mullinax Ford from Sarasota Ford because they are greedy jackasses.

First, the “specialist” tried to tell me that there was a $465 acquisition fee Ford charges for the vehicle (yes, if your leasing, I’m not ) regardless of purchase or lease. Then the dealership is charging a $899 doc fee that is not negotiable (ridiculous and greedy) and then they said I had to take their $800 dealership accessory package because that is how all their vehicles are ordered (nitrogen in tires, window tint, etc.) Just total bs and arrogance all around. There is no way I’d even bother to get my vehicle serviced there when I get it. Shady.

I have heard a lot of things like that about them. I guess I took too late to make a move before the deadline closed. I guess I did not make the change fearing that my order will be delayed further. Fortunately, I was not hit with anything else besides the Doc fee. I hope when the time comes to actually purchase it, they do not start adding any other "obligations" because I will be pisssed. It has been a bit shitty that other people on this forum have such great relationships with their dealers. I can barely get any info from the sales guy here.
