This mod top does not look shiny. Is it possible it is a darker MIC with the window removed?

I can see it now. You're inside the back and releasing the latches 1 by 1. You get to the final latch and.... OH SHIIIITTTTT!!! (ಥ ͜ʖಥ)

Just wanted to chime in that the door trim plastics match up very well with the MOD top, that looks excellent.
Obviously that means it looks a little strange with MIC, as they aren't changing this door trim by roof option.

Actually, just the opposite. As seen from the video in below post, the plastic trim is more matte-finish (not glossy), matching-up better with MIC. But I don't look at it that way. Both work equally well.

I see the gate swings wider than the Jeep (which stops just past 90-degrees). Not something I need, and I'm glad Ford added a detent at 90-degree for most of the times you don't need that full swing (and possibly tap a nearby car).
And that pull-out tailgate oughta just be standard across the board.

The pullout tailgate prevents on board door storage for someone that would do that.

This opening does not appear to be the standard mod top opening which is why originally I thought this was a mic top. It is missing the catch and locking mechanisms.

That was still in the prototyping phase. Not all Mod tops at that time even had removable windows. That’s where a huge amount of confusion came from.

Interesting, I wasn’t aware the the “porthole” top panel on the 2-door was only available on the mod top. I thought that was on both and the removable glass was the only difference

I think it looks great but I'm biased. The mod top suits it will. Retread some 33s on the wheels and it'll be ready to go.

This looks awesome! If you could also remove the glass over the tailgate easily, I may be willing to pay the extra money for the modular top. Still like the MIC better though from a durability standpoint.

Now a MIC or textured top with ALL of the glass removable (maybe no gunner hatch) would definitely have my attention.
