So, it's a Bronco that won't fit on a trail. What does this mean for the baja-focused Wildtrack?
The F-150 Raptor has trouble fitting on trails as well so I'm guessing this will be more desert running oriented. Seems like so far that the non-sas badlands is the most tight trail friendly trim.

Ford is not allowed to build ONE Raptor until EVERY backorder is filled currently on the books. I'm so tired of Ford's PR team talking about electric broncos, warthogs, raptors and pickup variations only to distract from the task at hand. BUILD WHAT YOU PROMISED YEARS AGO FIRST!

On a serious note, my guess is that Ford is revealing the Raptor much sooner than anticipated because all the media is talking so negative about the rollout.

It will give them something positive to talk about.

Best thing about this high end Raptor version coming out next year is all the improvements in it will trickle down to standard bronco models in years to follow and make for a much better product 👍

Why doesn’t @Ford Motor Company deliver all the reservation trucks before teasing something else they can’t deliver?

Seriously, I’m a die hard Bronco guy who has owned a Bronco for the majority of my 45 years, but ford’s fuckery has me really to walk away from the whole mess. If it wasn’t for the fact I have a non refundable deposit with my dealer I’d cancel and be satisfied with my 2021 Tacoma (which I had to buy when the Bronco was delayed indefinitely). As it stands, I’ll be dropping my trim to base instead of Badlands and reducing my cost (and Ford’s profits) by almost $20K. Thanks @Ford Motor Company for sucking the joy and enthusiasm out of the Bronco for me.

Really curious about power output / performance.

Trying to decide if I just go ahead with a 392 wrangler or wait on the Warthog.

So if you have a reservation already can you switch it to a raptor?

Edit: I don't really think this is going to happen, but one can dream!
If...And it's a BIG IF. It comes out in MY22. You should be able to switch to the Warhog / Raptor, (I hope Ford doesn't call it that) You listening @Ford Motor Company ? There would be no price protection. You'd have to pay whatever crazy price Ford and their Dealers want for it. I'm betting it will be very pricey.

This may have been already answered, so sorry for the repetition.

If one does not get a vin for MY21, and Raptor is listed as a Bronco model, can one switch their reservation to a Bronco Raptor?

I was completely expecting wide body fenders. I thought the camo covered flares were just to throw folks off.
I think part of the reason they cant bulge out the fenders more is the rear door. If they did that they would also need to modify/bump out the rear doors to mesh with wide body fenders.

In Red Pepper! Very catchy just like the Bronco lunch. But the devil is always in the detail i.e production, quality, delivery timeline etc. I'm curbing my enthusiasm(to quote a show) on this one and waiting for the receipts.
I don’t believe that is Hot Pepper Red - I believe that’s the new Orange that was leaked in the old system a couple weeks ago as a possible heritage only color (so probably Raptor only). My car is hot pepper red (2018 Focus) and it’s way more red and pearlescent. This is more of a flat orange color.
