02/28/22 Build Week Thread

I picked it up yesterday in Elk Grove, CA (Sacramento Area) and took it straight to the shop. Put on a 2 inch zone lift and SAS wheels and tires. Picked it up today and drove to Tahoe. I stopped at Horsetail Falls on Hwy 50 for a photo op, LOL! Then to the house with the top off over the cab. It drives like a dream, I absolutely love it!!! The dealer did jack me for a $5K ADM that I knew was coming but they never told me about. Basically said I didn't have to buy it. F**k Elk Grove Ford!

My dealer treated me great, no ADM. Sorry you got that treatment. I'll be meeting up with family for a vacation there at Tahoe the second week of June. You have a beauty of a build.

I was on a factory hold for two weeks but neither Ford nor Justin could confirm why. Shipping was a little over 2 weeks on the rail and 4 days at the rail yard. Sorry you're waiting so long so frustrating!!

I went back through some previous build week's google docs to see if they'd received their orders and it doesn't look good. I know some don't update when they receive because there are a few from our week that have received and not updated, but I believe I will just quit checking and wait for the call that it's here.

Still waiting. Email from Ford on 4/15 said it shipped with an EDD of 4/22 to 4/28. No more email from Ford but backdoor link has slipped EDD three times with the latest EDD of 5/6 to 5/12. Guess it will arrive eventually.

I haven’t waited as long as others (about 6 months), but the Bronco arrived at the dealer today in Houston. Signed, sealed, and almost delivered. She stayed back until this weekend for a 2” lift and some 35” tires. Had people trying to buy it while I was signing paperwork. Cannot wait to enjoy this weekend.

I have the OBX model as well. What’s the approximate cost of the aftermarket SAS treatment?

I paid $1900 for the wheels and tires and about $750 for the lift kit and the install. It looks like a completely different vehicle than the stock OBX.

Can anyone who is successfully tracking your rail car confirm the below matches? Just learned the rail car shows on the WS, but OP for tracker info says to contact dealer for rail car info. My WS shows code of NB which is not on this initial sample WS pulled from tracker thread.

Did you ever figure out what NB means? I am 5/9 build week and just found the same NB Code.

No. In the end that information was not useful in tracking the rail car via CSX and UNion Pacific

Anyway, I was on chip hold until I got a built e mail on 3/23. It didn't ship until 4/14, and arrived at El mirage rail yard 4/28. My dealer is only about 6 miles from the yard, but hasn't been delivered yet. I just got another bump this morning with range of 5/2 to 5/10. My dealer put an expedite on it , but i think its just random, and trucks are scarce.
Anyway, just wanted to give you a time line, unfortunately...nothing is quick. hope you get yours soon.

Yeah, is trying to say the least. I am hoping they have some chips coming in soon for everyone left, my original EDD after chip hold was May 17th.... not far from it at this point. Hope you get yours soon.

Build week was 02/28/22 and was built 03/18/22. Shipped 04/19/22 and arrived in lawrenceville georgia on 04/30/22. Still do not have the Bronco and the order track app says picked. Called the dealer and they said a couple days. That was 6 days ago. Ford chat says delivery is expected 05/09/22. I can't do anything but wait but my goodness......

I think mine has the longest running time on Ordertrack.app. Supposed to be delivered 4/4-4/10. My ETA hasn't changed and my Ford rep knows nothing (I work at the dealership) lol.

similar thing here obviously I dont work at a dealer however... built 2/28 per tracker - pushed back for convoy delivery until 5/21.... so frustrating
