Ford Offering Toyota Owners $8k Off Broncos

Based on bulletins that Ford recently sent to dealers on October 1, the American automaker is offering Toyota owners a $2,000 conquest cash incentive to purchase or lease a 2023 or 2024 Ford Bronco.​

The new conquest cash incentive is called Toyota Competitive Conquest Bonus Cash and it’s available in approximately half a dozen regions, including Los Angeles, Orlando, Atlanta, Seattle, Phoenix, and San Francisco. To qualify for the incentive, shoppers must own or lease a 1995 or newer Toyota. Unlike other incentives we’ve seen from Ford recently, this is a broad one that doesn’t specifically target a particular Toyota model. So, shoppers can have a car like the Corolla and still be eligible for the incentive. Shoppers don’t have to trade their vehicles in and the offer is available from October 1 to January 2, 2025.​

The offer doesn't require a trade-in, only a current registration or similar to prove ownership over 90 days (as best I recall from inquiring about the Jeep Conquest).

What is misleading about the headline? Also this has nothing to do with trade in and nothing to do with dealer discounts which are in addition to manufacture incentives which this is. What is with these stupid and insulting comments? Bronco owners living up to their stereotype? I'm a member of several of these forums, all the A-holes are on this one.

Having just bought my Bronco OBX using the Jeep conquest (wife’s ‘17 Jeep wrangler we are joint on), it was easy peasy. Just needed to show title. And this was negotiating from invoice, not sticker. I didnt feel any trickeration that some rebates come with. this was in western Tennessee. I did notice an Autonation dealer in Mississippi ( literally 12 miles from the Tn dealer) did not offer this, so it may well be regional
