That locker has always been there but never a stand alone option on the base unfortunately

The Base isn't there to have options. It's there for an advertised price-point. I would not expect the rear locker to be made available for Base. Honestly, Squatch for base is a big win.
Funny thing is I think the fake low advertised price just pisses people off.

It’s just a way of saying if you want a locker you can add it via sasquatch. Where the buttons are on the website have zero effect on pricing realities.

It’s not a fake price it’s the price for a bronco with no options. If you want to a-la-carte things you’ll have to pay more. Super simple.

Lunchbox locker FTW.

Under $500 and 1-2 hours with simple hand tools.

Way too many people on B6G talking about lockers that have zero idea what they are or do. The locker threads are almost as comical as the cupholder threads.

Wait, are you saying I can easily convert my cup holder to a lunchbox holder?

So are you telling me the lockers don't have cupholders!? I'm out!

This ^ maybe its bc I come from the mustang world, but I dont get the people complaining about lack of options on the base. The fact that Ford even offered the sas on the base shocked the hell out of me.

The base exists to market the bronco as having a starting price of 28k.

A lunchbox locker will always be engaged so I imagine most buyers would much prefer the factory locker. I'd rather wait around for a donor OEM locking axle than live with a lunchbox locker everyday, especially in a 2-door. One other consideration is how the trail turn and traction control electronics would handle having a mechanical locker in there without knowing it!

The lock rites are great but that aluminum housing causes concern.

Its pretty lame, it is what it is though. Its funny that on an XL ranger you can get the FX4 package which adds the e-locker. But the most offroad vehicle Ford has you can't get a locker on the base model also??

Never know when someone might need to climb a curb at the local Starbucks, lol.
