I needed to wire in 1 relay for my setup with the upfitter switches but I got bored and ran all 6 as relays. Totally unnecessary but it was fun. Power from the battery goes to the 6 slot fuse box before going to each relay. The wires going to lights and aux switches are on quick disconnects and the grounds are all going to a busbar. I built in enough slack to easily pull the fuse box lid and set aside but if it needs to be removed, it’s the 4 quick disconnects and the 2 wires going to ground and fuse box. Different colored shrink tube on the quick disconnects ensures I’m plugging them into the correct harness. Relay 4 isn’t hooked up to anything yet but it has a length of wire already to be spliced.

Clean project, is this for a non-upfitter switch equipped Bronco? Stock upfitter switches already have a relay in line with the fuse for each circuit from the factory.

This is with the stock upfitter but switch 2 is only rated for 15 amps and I’m pulling more. That being said, if there is a relay built in, where are they? All I’ve found are the fuses

How do you open the fuse box without disconnecting all the relays?

Looks clean! What do you have powered by the hard disconnect? I only ask as I have the same kit but only wanted the mount. I believe the bit circled in the attached image is two pieces of 1/8”stacked aluminum. Wouldn’t want to be drawing too much through that.

If you have enough wire you just leave them there and lift everything all at once. I have a y-splitter and fuse blocks mounted similarly. Just need enough slack to get it over to the side

Fuse box lid has enough slack in the wire harness to be pulled away. And if I do want to remove the wires, it only takes 3-4 minutes and an 8mm socket

This is awesome. I've been waiting for someone to make something like this aftermarket for three upfitter switches.

I looked at my upfitter wiring yesterday and it's already a rats nest. Kind of jealous of how clean this is.

That’s going to my dual battery setup. I have 4 20amp lithium batteries in the trunk. It’s drawing about 25 amps/hour.

That’s one of the reasons I did it. Mine was an absolute rats nest prior to this despite my best efforts

That American adventure labs mount is great, I kind of want to get one as a master cut off for my winch and air compressor - I think I'm getting a bit of ghost draw.
