Does anyone know if I can change the timing on the cigarette lighter power source in the dash? 2025 Bronco Sport I have my dash cam plugged in there and it stays on all the time. Over time, it will drain my battery.

I don't know. The 6G Bronco doesn't have a 12V power point in the dash that I'm aware of - only the USB ports which are driven by the radio, and the 12V ports that do exist are run by a timer called Power Point so that they don't stay on 24/7. The 12V power in the center console is run by the same Power Point timer as the rear cargo area and the optional 120V inverter (but on a separate fuse)

Second, it shouldn't kill your battery dead - your vehicle should enter Deep Sleep mode before it gets to the point where it won't start the car. And at that point, it will turn off all the factory power points, courtesy lamps, remote connectivity, walk-up locks, etc.

Lastly, For the Bronco Sport, you'd have to ask in the Bronco Sport forums. I would guess the Forscan settings for Power Point would still apply there (although they may have a different BCM address) - but a better idea would probably be throwing it to an add-a-tap on an ACC powered fuse.

My 25 Bronco Sport has a 12 volt in the dash beside the USB and the C plug.
