Ford did this when they offered employee price for everyone. Ford said combining both was up to the dealer. I could not find a dealer that would let me use veteran and first responder offers at the same time.

Vendors rarely combine (or stack) discounts. Sometimes, with a published sale price, you can use a code identifying yourself as veteran or first responder or maybe teacher. The thing is to obtain a legitimate discount code, then order from the sale, Black-Friday, open-box, or some other such discounted (for everybody) price, and see if it takes your vet/first-responder code. Consider calling an outfit's customer service number and asking outright if they offer such discounts.

Remember, since January 2020 military exchanges and commissaries have been open to veterans. Prices aren't substantially discounted, but they are cheaper and you don't pay sales tax. An Air Force base near me has an auto shop with three full-time mechanics for a charge of $60/hour, plus self-service bays with lifts (tools provided!) you can use (first come, first served) for...drumroll....$5.00/hour! But you have to provide your own oil, filter, and parts.

These are the discounts I qualify for:

Veteran
First Responder
Student (of human nature)
Senior
Financially handicapped
Mentally challenged
Morally crippled
