This is how I see the pick-up day playing out:

1. Drive to the dealer while regretting every close call decision I made on my order, and probably regretting the entire purchase as a whole.
2. Let the regret sink deep as I sign on the dotted line.
3. Tell my wife “I’ll see you at home” as she takes off in our very sensibly purchased minivan. All the while masking my regret.
4. Walk up to my Bronco (pulse starts to pick up), pull the masking off of the exterior, crack the door. Oh yeah... now I’m starting to feel some excitement start to simmer.
5. Pull the plastic covers off of the seat and screens like I’m undressing my wife for the first time- slowly and patiently but with a bubbling sense of passion and anticipation.
6. Grab my new keys, give them a once-over. Push the clutch in, start the engine, let her run until she comes down off of high idle.
7. Shift into first, roll on the throttle. Feel every single regret fade away along with every other care in the world.

8. Park it at home and feel the cares rush back haha.

Repeat 6-8 for the next 200k miles

Immediately camping. I'm filling up a rental car with my camping gear in North Dakota and driving to Granger. I'll drop the gear in the bronco, return the rental, and be camping that evening. (Unless my delivery ends up being pushed back to winter)

1. Install 265/75/16 Falken Wildpeaks
2. Tint back three windows
3. Remove back seats
4. Do they make Bronze plasti dip? If so apply generous amount to base steelies.
5. If it happens to be November or later, drop off for heated seat install.
6. figure out how to permanently disable automatic stop and start and seatbelt chime
7. Figure out what to do about shitty plastic steering wheel.
8. get a hitch
9. Hope Ford unfucks themselves so I can order a higher trim and remove a few steps next time.

These are the mods planned to start the journey:

1. Paint the warm alloy beauty rings Carbonized Grey
2. Paint the muffler black with Rustoleum high heat (grill) paint
3. Install short trail length antenna
4. Fab the garage door opener to work in one of the aux switches (cause I got High, not Lux)

Thats the start as a lot more mods coming

My good friend from San Diego is flying out and we are going to do a road trip up to the Appalachian Mountains for a few days. We are going to hit some off-road areas and set up camp to enjoy some much needed peace and relaxation. This Bronco is going to change the way I live my life and will allow for that extra bit of freedom which I will enjoy with my daughters for years to come. Cheers everyone!! 🤜💥🤛

Add 3000 watt inverter, cab radio, ham radio, wheel lights rock lights, roof rack, change out tires for 35” ko2’s (Goodyear tires suck), add fridge, and get all my survival/rescue gear installed, add underwear safe and center console safe for my firearms. Add front and rear collision cams with Dvr. Add Satellite GPS uplink tracking. Add M2 50bmg mount. Add many of the Ford needed accessories such as winch, lights, bead locker rings etc...

ordered the Badlands SAS Lux. Although if I get pushed to MY22 and they release the warthog I’ll probably upgrade to the warthog, or the V8 if offered.

Please don't plan your pickup around specific dates before knowing when your bronco will be built!

Thank you, Sir! We work hard to have the life we want and I would not have it any other way. I hope our Southeast group gets together once we all have taken delivery!
