Here's A screenshot of the the ordering program, note how it only has the 2.3L's in dark, the light bodystyles all have the commodity listing below them if you try to order. Below that is the hardtop and the towing package showing commodity. It is possible these can change, if availability improves, Ford can reinstate these options so this could be for a month or the rest of 22. Again those with a reservation or already placed order are unaffected by this (other than to know what the scheduling problems are likely to be). Other good news is it looks like Sasquatch isn't going to be a big problem this year (still likely a commodity, but not a terrible one).

I don’t know if this is good or bad. If it wasn’t for all these 2 month old reservations getting build dates I’d say good, yet now newbies are going to just select buildable orders and still get their broncos. I have a hard time believing fordusing parts to build buildable orders doesn’t somehow or someway continue to push me down the line. Allocation comes to mind. If 50 newbies places non constrained orders and eat up my dealers allocations I’ll be SOL

So while I am waiting for my dumb ass dealer to get me the bronco I actually wanted, I went ahead and contacted another dealer about possibly trading in the wrong bronco in exchange for a 2 door, 2.7 etc. I just got a call and a voicemail from the latter dealer, and he's saying Ford isn't allowing any order submissions for the 2.7 ecoboost for the rest of the year....
Anyone have any insight to this? Are they really going to limit 2022 to mainly 2.3l?
Was told the same thing in October for my order. MIC and tow package in same boat.

Ford should have had a rule that you had to convert a reservation to an order after so many months and if you didn't you lost your spot. These people waiting a year plus to finally order should have lost their reservation at that point. Shit or get off the pot...
If you didn't get your order in by October 28, I think your reservation is meaningless in terms of early MY2022 scheduling.

When did you order? if you don't mind me asking. 2 doors seems to be hard to come by. Thanks!
Reservation 5am 7/14/2020; Ordered 1/21/2021; Ordered MY22 10/13/21; Email notification of Scheduled 10/28/21...fingers are crossed it does't slip.
