2.7 engine still having issues?

Are Bronco owners still having issues with the 2.7L engine? I’ve looked through some threads, but can’t find a clear answer.

Less than 100 2021 models had valve issues, otherwise no large scale problems.

My 2021 2.7 after 17 months of ownership is humming right along!

Mine engine was built on Julian date 21209, the date with the most failure on this forum. I'm at ~21,500 miles, running the performance tune and regularly dropping full throttle, no issues.

Knock on wood, I have almost 20k on mine and haven’t had any issues, thankfully. Like the others have said I believe that was a bad batch of valves.

6,500 miles on my 2022, 2.7 and it runs like a MOFO (especially on premium grade gasoline).

12,000 miles on my 2.7 and mine was made smack dab in the trouble period. The danger was way overblown..

I did have to have my cam phasers replaced but that’s a common Ford issue.

23,000 miles on mine, still running strong. My ford performance tune came in today so tomorrow that go on and I'll enjoy that, too
