Off/On-topic - I have HOSS 3.0 tie rods on my '23 Wildtrak. Are there also reports of those breaking? Should I be running with a backup?
Yes.

Awesome! Bronco looks great being put through it's paces. Love the fake arm hanging out the tailgate!

Mine is the Hoss 3.0 and I snap my first tie rod I would carry spares if you wheel hard.

So I just upgraded to the 3.0 and this is the first time I’ve heard of issues with the 3.0 tie rods. Has anyone heard of anybody having issues with the Icon tie rods and 3.0?

Anything can break if you wheel enough. We had a few in our group break multiple Icons, I think Eric was the first for the Ford Performance ones but it’s hard to keep track of all the damages.

I have not seen any post for a broken Ford Performance rod. Oh great I could be the first.

I am glad everything else held together for you. Looks as if you had a chance to cover a lot of trails this trip.

Amazing trip with a great group of Bronco owners, very experienced drivers to beginners. Over the course of four days it was fun to see them gain experience and become more confidant in what they and the Bronco could do. The wife"s did not always enjoy it though.
Five straight days of trails, two days each way to Moab was nine days at the wheel, old body a little sore when I arrived home. It was a well needed get away for me.

Damn... I was hoping those new performance rods were going to hold up.... You do wheel hard and test the equipment, but it seemed from the video vantage point you chose good lines and did everything right.... At least the rack did not break..... I wonder how those bushings are holding up....

Thanks for sharing the videos.... and the experience however vicarious.
