That is a super easy wheel to paint yourself.

16" rims are the sweet spot for offroading. Plenty big for properly sized calipers, but allow for more sidewall on the tires.

Great setup @Bellebracht
thanks!

It looks good...I like how the 16" wheel makes the tire look so much bigger. I wonder if the closed off wheel leads to an increased risk of brake rotors warping??? I think this wheel in white would look bad ass as well.
The closed design rims would retain and generate higher temps over a more open design. With 35" tires, I don't see any issue with the OP's rim and tire selection, however, if he decides to go with 37" or larger, then I would look at a more open design to keep air moving around the rotor area. This setup looks nice. It is not for me as I am looking a doing a big brake upgrade later down the road, and I might need to go with 18" rims.

Looks awesome man! I was looking at those wheels for my FJ40 too, but ended up getting the FJ Company wheels - also 16" - and plan on test fitting them to my Bronco for shits and giggles. Any idea what clearance was still available with the 16s? I'm also waiting for someone to test fit 15s, unless I manage to beat them to it, but I still have several weeks to wait at minimum.

Note the bumper extender and the flare don’t line up.
The bumper extension is for the Sasquatches

I too am interested in how this problem gets solved. Is it enough just to remove the cap? If so, what is holding it on and how easy is it to remove?

Unfortunately I’m on crutches atm and can’t crawl around to get a good look at the clearance. I haven’t actually driven it yet either, I have another 4-6 weeks before I can 😩

I’m hoping it’s designed so that you can swap the end caps, im going to take a look at it on mon to see what my options are on that front

Oh no! Well here's to a speedy recovery 🍻

What you need is a chair, good music, some drinks and a nice view of your Bronco to kill the time.

With these wheels were you able to use the factory lug nuts or did they recommend another style? Also about how much was a set of non squatch flares? I'm seriously considering this route, thanks.
Used original lugs, and I traded my sas flares for the narrower ones. But I believe they are around 300-400$ new. I’m planning on having mine painted lightning blue to match I think!
