Hello, neighbor! We flip-flopped between Área 51 and Cactus. The colors kept looking different in each photo. Good choice getting a Bronco and not a Bronco XL, too.Beautiful landscape! Utah! Look at mine

Yeah, you’re right, we were between those 2 colors, but the area 51 was the one available!Hello, neighbor! We flip-flopped between Área 51 and Cactus. The colors kept looking different in each photo. Good choice getting a Bronco and not a Bronco XL, too.
Thanks! Flares are from KBD Body Kits.what kind of fender flares are those ? Really beautiful Bronco !
I'm glad you got to see it in person and appreciate your detailed observations. The clear (or un-tinted) window glass was a happy accident, I must admit. All the other choices you mentioned (and a few that people have not yet noticed or commented on) were planned with the intention to make the 6th gen appear more like a 1st gen.@Manx saw this rig at Galpin, and can't get over how thoughtful and clean it is!
I especially love the clear glass, fender flares, grille, sport badges, and trail sight deletes... but of course, the Ranger trim, hubcaps, color selection, wheel and tire combo, restraint around lifting and modernizing other pieces... that stuff really makes it look so clean that most people would never know it's been tweaked.
@Ford this is how all broncos should look, especially the heritage ones. It's the way we remember OB's looking because the ones with these cutaway flares were the period-modified ones making all the memories in Venice Beach. Here, it doesn't register as looking retro, it just looks right. Not over-styled, not off-the-shelf, not cheesy, and not lame.
Prepping them to accept paint is a trick. Clean them thoroughly.Install video on fender flares. Wind noise annoying, but product looks good.
Ok, removed wind noise comment.Wind noise? I don't have that experience at all. Prepping them to accept paint? Now that was a trick
You didn't need to remove your wind noise comment if that's your experience. I was just saying I've not noticed that at all on mine. Thanks!Ok, removed wind noise comment.
I would imagine paint prep, application wasn't easy although your pictures look great!
Congrats on a very cool, thoughtful design.

I went with base coat/clear coat Wimbledon White paint from PPG on the roof and grille, and PSB-4766, Almond White, powder coating from Prismatic Powders for the wheels.what finish did you got with on the Wimbledon White? I am thinking of doing satin
