Hey all, I’m aware there’s a few threads with people posting what they have on top of their 2 door for camping.. & ive read them all, I’m about to buy a RTT for this upcoming season and wonder if anyone’s come across any new models or options.

I just came across the Kabari Lite.. which weighs 160 without the ladder, but I haven’t seen much better dimensions for a 2 door clamshell. 46x80 is damn near perfect.

I’m a bit on the fence with clamshell or one that folds out, a few options for sure.. but anyone else with photos of their 2 door rigs or some nice tents, please share!

Ford Bronco 2 Door RTT - options for 2024 2023-08-10 14.36.44

Mine's around the same size as that - and around 160lbs as well. I've got better mounting plates for it this year (this photo was last year), which will hopefully help as I had to manage squeaky rack/wind noise a little. I need to figure out what the best way for some stiffer rear springs are as well, as it does squat a little when fully loaded.

Mine is a no-name one, but similar to the CVT ones I believe from a few years ago. It's been good, though I do need to put a small air mattress under the foam as I'm a side sleeper and not the lightest. I should have a picture of this years setup soon.

Just installed an Ikamper X-Cover 2.0. 150lbs and sleeps 4 tightly, 3 comfortably. Not as quick as a clamshell to open/close but is easily done in about 2 minutes.

If I was going to go the RTT route with factory rack on 2dr I'd most likely go with Inspired Overland as they have a couple of lightweight options
Roof Top Tents - Inspired Overland

or GFC if they dropped a superlight v2

This is on my list. The size looks perfect for the 2 door Bronco.

I have the FSR Aspen Lite 100-110 lbs, OEM Bronco rack. Haven’t installed it yet.

Ost. I have a 2 door, but I am 6'6" and 260lbs. I need it to be big enough for me and the wife (5'2")

Ive been eyeballing the ikamper 3.0 mini. I think I'll need a side entry fold out. All of the clam shell ones do not have a lot of length

78" I'll be touching top and bottom.

Painfully expensive. But ikamper came out with the dlx mini.

It looks like it would fit
