I’d def do the PPF if I wasn’t struggling to survive Seattle cost of living. Like the idea of demo camping multiple times in local area before venturing out. Feel like my friends and I likely will just hit hotels for four bros in the 4d but could be nice to learn how to camp with my golden once a month in the few summer months we have in Washington.

@Quitefrankly I had the wife, my 2 year old, and the dog along for this trip and it was tight quarters traveling with all of our gear.

I also would like to try to set it up for just myself, potentially sleeping in the truck so I can leave the tent behind. I will say, the hanging kitchen setup and tailgate table are convenient for camping!

I definitely want to pick up a tail gate table. If anything, just to protect the inside of the tailgate!
Ours has a couple scratches, and over the weekend - I noticed a small dent! lol.
My wife and 2 small daughters recently did a weekend camping trip as well and we were definitely filled to the brim.

I've since ordered a roof basket to have the option of throwing some stuff up top if needed.

I know the feeling. I was packed pretty full for my trip, and realized after unpacking that my gear rubbed away a quarter-sized section of the window tint on my rear glass.

Oh well!

I've considered a roof basket or the American Adventure Labs system that straps to the spare tire.

Small project this weekend to prepare for sleeping in the Bronco over Memorial Day Weekend.

Threw together a window vent to provide some air flow while also keeping the bugs out. A section of gutter guard and some window screen material, super glue, and black paint. All in for around $20 depending on how many of these items you already have laying around the house!

The frameless windows in the Bronco called for some creativity here! Much cheaper than the few aftermarket solutions that are out there.

Looks like you used the one with the rubber seal part, was thinkin that would work best even tho you have to add your own screen. Did you cut anything off the top side or does that double edge fit?

The double edge fits really well against the window and seals up against the rubber seals pretty well. The gutter guard I used isn't a totally flat surface, so gluing the screen material to it was a bit tricky, but not bad.

2nd camping trip with the Bronco was a success! Next trip will potentially be solo, so I'll be sleeping in the Bronco for the 1st time.

Got it a little dirty today, and took it off road for the first time! Very light offroading not far from home on my day off, but it was peaceful and I had 8-10 water crossings along the way!

My biggest gripe with those grills is the large openings that reveal all of the plastic crap behind the grill itself. The Wildtrak grill hides all of that.

I thought that before I put mesh behind it. Now I love the grill

3rd Time Camping in the Bronco, this time Solo, and sleeping in the truck instead of a tent. Here are some photos of my setup!

Items that made sleeping in the Bronco comfortable and convenient:
-Deepsleep Riser to level out cargo area when rear seats are laid down
-Inflatable Sleeping Pad
-A quality sleeping bag
-USB Rechargable fan w/ light (easily clipped to the latch on the middle roof section)
-DIY window Vent made from a section of gutter guard paired with window screen material, cut to the width of the rear glass
-Bluetti EB3A power station
-GasOne Camp Stove
-Pourover Coffee
-cooler
-tote(s) to organize everything
-Small packable camp chair
-folding table
-various flashlights/headlamps(helpful considering I arrived and set up camp at 11pm)
-canvas bag for firewood
-cooking/kitchen items stored in a hanging toiletry bag

HOT today in the Midwest, but a great day for a car show.

My father works at my hometown Ford store, and they hosted a car show today to benefit the local American Cancer Society chapter. Today was the first time I've removed the rear section of hardtop, and it was easier than I anticipated!

Here's a shot of my dad's low mileage Mustang California Special next to my Bronco

Oh, and I was the judge for the show, and gave Best of Show to a PRISTINE custom 72 Bronco that I couldn't stop drooling over. The owner also has a 6G 2-Door Bronco as well, so we bonded over that.

Had to post this somewhere, and figured this would be the only place anyone would care.

Dropped my daughter off at daycare today, and a 3 year old in her class told me he liked my monster truck.

Made the $60K worth every penny
