I appreciate all the modern conveniences on my daily driver, especially as an old guy. However, when you're going deep into the backcountry, especially out west where you might be up some some canyon 50 miles from the nearest town, design simplicity has its virtues - fewer things to break and cause trouble. My first two 4x4s (bought in the 1980s and 1990s) had manual windows and door locks for a reason. This time around I won't have a choice in the matter if I want a Bronco. So it goes.

I don’t like that you can’t get the aux switches on the Base. I don’t like that you can’t get a 2dr Big Bend, nor the “black Diamond” package.
I was messing with my Wife’s Bronco Sport with its auto lane keeping and adaptive cruise control when we first got it and I’m sold on it.

It works best on the highway on long drives-we took one and it helps lessen the amount of fatigue with constantly adjusting your speed and keeping car centered in the lane…yeah you might laugh at that but I noticed a difference after using it.
Adaptive cruise looks great, drove a friends Sonata to Florida with her, it was worth its weight in gold.

Come on Ford - getting rid of several Bronco Models along with getting rid of certain Two-Door Models and items that were previously Standard - and instead requiring the customer to choose an Options Package? What a sneaky way to drive up the price of every 2025 Bronco model being sold. And yes it was nice that Ford brought back the Base - but that was more for Ford being able to advertise the lowest starting price for a 2025 Bronco. With these 2025 changes it has become obvious that, rather than listening to your Marketing people you are only listening to your Accounting people. I had been excited about seeing what the 2026 Refresh would look like - but now that I have seen the changes that Ford has made for 2025, I think that the 2026 Refresh will be more of a 2026 Defresh.

Now that you can get a Badlands with 4-cylinder and manual transmission or automatic will there be an upcharge for the automatic? Typically the manual transmission is the cheaper option.

No one has pricing to confirm it, but I'd say that's a pretty safe bet.

If they offer both in that trim the Manual should be $0 and the Auto $1500 or so. On our 23' Base that's how it worked but won't know until 10/25.

Finally had a chance to look through the PDF but didn't read the 31 pages here. Base is back and in a 2 door with either Transmission and 2.3l only. Still no 4.27 locker option(BIG miss there) but you can get SAS and it gets the 12 inch screen now like MY24.

Next 2 door is a BL now so if you want a 2 door like me you have to go stripped base no available options or loaded $60k BL nothing in between????

It will be interesting to see how much the Base starts at above the original $30k since you're not getting anything additional other than a 12 inch screen and power brakes.

I think Ford will cut Bronco prices in 25 and that's why you don't see ordering/prices up. Ford backtracked on Mach-E prices and just announced a 25 price cut. It might only be $1-2K but psychologically folks will want deeper price cuts on 23s and 24s on the lot.

This is the biggest issue for us, wanted to go 2Dr and not spend BL money, but Ford dropped some critical stuff and it makes it hard to justify, may just go a different route altogether like buy a 24 off a lot discounted or scrap the 2nd bronco plan.

In 2025, there is no 4.27 gear any trim, it's 4.46 or bust. There are 3 gear options; 3.73, 4.46, and 4.70, that's it.

What would have been smarter would be 4.46, 4.70, and 5.13 as options. It would probably have not significantly impacted mpg's overall.

I would be still considering a base 2.3 2 door in desert sand to build up, but the reality is that a used lux package 2.7 can be had for about the same money.

Options were deleted. Not the actual LED or signature lights.
Please forgive my ignorance (I'm new here) but can you tell me if the 2025 Heritages have the Signature LEDs as standard? This order guide is confusing!

Same here been looking at slightly used as you can get some nice trims with SAS for low 40's below a new BB with just a rear locker. Crazy thing is I was quoted $33k trade in for my 23' Base which is more than I paid for it.

I will wait to see what a Base with SAS is since it looks like you get the Heritage flares too. but when I ordered mine in 21' it was $40k for base with SAS so guessing it will be 45-50k.

Very true looking at a FE with 9k miles for $47k right now, found a nice 24' BL with SAS last month for $44 but it went fast!

Damn they added heated steering wheel to badlands and added the fox live valve as an option. I wish I could have gotten ours that way and not had to buy the lux package to get heated steering wheel.
