The Bronco follows a traditional calendar production year. You won't see any MY'26 in 2025. The 60th Anniversary will likely reveal a special edition with further promotion at the Woodward Dream Cruise. But as far as features and options for MY'26, the Dealer Order Guide (DOG) will detail all that. It traditionally is released at the end of September or the beginning of October.
looking forward to seeing what changes will happen.

OBX?
No, it can be a problem if you are in an area with lots of obstacles turns with sudden rain then stop then a few seconds minutes and does it again. By the time you get the wipers on and can see you may have already been clobbered. One needs to keep there attention 100% on the road not fiddling with the controls. The rain often comes down so hard in such copious quantities that you see nothing if the wipers are not on. if you leave them on the beat them selves to death maybe before a deluge. I've only ever encounter these conditions on the pacific coast in Oregon or northern ca.
Just a nice safety feature allowing the driver more time to focus on driving.
If your distracted by windshield wipers.....

I’ve had rain sensing wipers on 3 cars now. All different brands. Not 1 of them worked correctly. Most of the time they are too fast and I’ve got to listen to the blade scraping across a dry windshield. I find that feature miserable. Glad it’s not on my bronco. Adjusting the wipers to the speed I like takes 0 effort.

My favorite is when they go off when bugs hit the windshield. My 19 expedition was horrible
I totally, 100% agree! I absolutely despise any "automatic" features on features. Nothing quite like a carpenter bee or june bug exploding on the windshield and the wipers smearing it in a 2" band of goo across the entire window... Or automatic hi-beams that strobe when the sensor is catching reflections from road signs, or right at that hysteresis point. "Oh but it's better now than before!" Oh, cool, so they added a delay or averaged a table of data to buffer a problem. Not a solution in my book for anything other than a fuel gauge.

Even if it's a feature you don't use, there's still a cost associated with it. Like... *cough* A/S/S *cough*

If I wanted a bunch of unnecessary and costly features that are guaranteed to fail/glitch and cost a lot of money to fix, I'd have just bought a BMW, Audi, or Mercedes.

Try snowplowing in lake effect blizzards. That'll toughen you up.
I can imagine. Like in Wyoming going down 80 and a gust picks up the powder and you instantly cannot see out of any window in your car. Thats likely close to lake effects you think?

Exactly, but sometimes instead of ground blizzard sort of conditions it's just nuking at 3 to 6 inches of snow per hour.

I spent 5.5 years up in Ithaca, NY and occasionally ended up closer to Lake Ontario at the wrong time of winter. It could be pretty insane.

Correct me if I’m wrong….. It’s been about 3 years since I ordered a Ford, but I recall end of August beginning of September that the dealers will be able to order the 2026…… approximately.

Ford is definitely behind times about 25 years, pretty pathetic. I had rain-sensing wipers that worked great on a 1992 BMW

None of this is real. It’s all just BS.
Other dealers posted very similar things last year saying how 25 was going to have a lot of this stuff including a hybrid option.

This paragraph alone shows you they have no idea what they’re talking about. “Arriving now” 🤣

No. The DOG always comes out in late September/beginning of October. Order banks open 6-8 weeks before the plant shutdown when they transition for the next model year. Typically that is around Christmas.

MY'22 was the only year where production transition occurred before Christmas. (*Ignoring the obvious half year MY'21 production)
