I placed an order on 12/12 and immediately got a confirmation text from Ford that day. Radio silence since.
So, just curious- anyone else order that week that have received a schedule date? A VIN? Etc.

Or what was your experience in 2024 or 2023 when ordering in December? I understand the plants are closed for year end, so just curious what you might have seen, so I can gauge what to expect.

I’ve got a 2Dr badlands manual in order.

Expect to spend extra $5-7K on all the parts Ford decided to eliminate in their quest to replicate decontenting to 1980s Lada levels: Speakers, new sub w enclosure, sub amp, extensive sound absorbing and deadener, closed cell floor audio and thermal insulation, various protective plastic covers like rockers, door sills, rear cage c beams, top qtr panel, glove box light, B & C brace to get rid of dumpter rattle trap vibe, then theres PPF and window tint.

After this you will have same level as mid $35K Hyundai, which is quite nice, in a way cooler package:)

I ordered a 2026 4-dr Badlands with the 2.3L and manual trans on October 27th and got a VIN plus a projected start production date of 1-26 on November 13th. I am hoping to get it in February, but we will see.

We ordered a 2025 Badlands 2dr manual last July 16th and picked it up Sep 28th, I think it arrived earlier that week, was alot faster than we thought actually after reading about it. When I followed up after 2 months of silence it was in transit to my surprise.

I'd swear you are a twin for a Sgt I am occasionally saddled with. You bring the rain to every damned parade.

Items you mention aren't high on everybody's list of needs or even wants.

I don't expect theatre level sound and I don't care about tint. I've even walked away from deals precisely because they did things like aftermarket tinting.

As to noise...I've been driving convertibles long before some of the whiners here were born. I've also had moonroofs and sunroof. Moderate levels of wind noise just means fewer phone conversations, which is a win-win for me.

To the OP, I had a couple of emails in the week or so after entering of the order. Then silence. A few updates occurred that I found by going back to the original email and using the tracking link.

Oh, and good choice with the 2dr Badlands manual. Hopefully you opted for the BEST color...Velocity Blue.

Since you said Manual-the correct transmission - you are looking at probably a 4-6 month wait. A bunch of us that ordered 2025s with manuals seemed to be around that 4-6 month waiting time.

Worth the wait.

You will get an email and notification in a few months telling you it's scheduled and then expect to wait and for that date to change.

And the one day it will be there and it will be very rad.

I hope we luck out and get ours sooner! Maybe Ford manufacturing just received a huge shipment of manual transmissions!!

Also, I have an online account on the Ford website and there is a pull-down to track orders. Mine shows up and I have also gotten emails.

Question: after it is received by the dealership about how long did it take before it was ready to drive off the lot? My understanding is it takes days/weeks to get checked out and prepped for the customer.

Update: as of 1-13-26, my order shows up as "In Production" on the Ford website, but not yet "Built". This is ahead of the initial start production date of 1-25-26. I placed my order on 10-25-25 at The Ford Store in Morgan Hill, Calif for a Badlands 4-dr 2.3L manual carbonized grey.

Mine arrived on a Saturday evening and I drove it off the lot Monday after work.

They replaced the 2.3 last year and that seemed to backup the MT broncos last year and cause the delays. But that backup seems to have ended. I saw a flood of MT dealer orders arrive by fall of 2025. And people ordering 2026 MT Broncos were given schedules in line with everyone else for early 2026 builds.

Maybe your dealer didn’t have any allocations when you placed your order. That would certainly delay matters. Did you ask your dealer if they had any allocations for your Bronco order?
