21 MPG seen on 4 Door Badlands 2.3L

I was at the Milwaukee show yesterday and the bronco reps literally let me look through everything, Owner Manual, MPG (21 mpg btw was showing this 4 door Bandlands SAS 2.3L [The rep did say this was probably the highway MPG as they have been driving city to city]), etc.

Owner manual was very detailed I did not take any pictures as the rep was with me, but it definitely has a nice search function and easy to use.

Overall I was super impressed. The bronco blew me away. It does not feel like a big car, but the seats and the texture on everything was a lot more impressive than people seem to think. The dash does not feel cheap like people or saying and the doors are super light. I don't know if I can wait another month before I have it. I would have drove off the lot if I could.

Honestly, I could see a 4dr sas getting 21 mpg on a flat highway with the cruise set to 60-65, but bump that cruise speed up to 75 and the mpgs will rapidly drop, to say 17-18mpg. Our 4dr wrangler jk on regular 32” tires can do 23 mpg at 60-65 on the highway, but when I push it at 78-80 mph it drops to 17mpg. The flat windshields on these cars will be horrible for aerodynamics, but that isn’t significantly pronounced until you hit higher speeds.

OP - did you compare the material on the dash with a lower trim? (BD and below0

just the "meet the bronco family" traveling event where they show off a couple pre production models. no test drives or anything sexy like that. they had a 4 door 1st edition sas (cactus grey) and a 4 door badlands (a51) on display. the photo is from the badlands.

ok it was a Bronco Family event..there is another Car show event at the Milwaukee Fair Grounds that will also show case the Broncos but it is in May and you are supposed to go on ride alongs in the new bronco at the track area.

So wait.... I see by the hero switches it is missing the trail turn assist, so that leads me to believe this is a manual. Your saying this was a manual SAS? I'm willing to bet it was a BL with the optional wheels rolling on 33"s. Not a Manual SAS.
