That's with the top down and the AC off. I was wondering if the AC being off was causing it to run a little hotter. I guess so. Thanks!
Try it out. Run down the road for about 10 minutes with the Ac on then 10 minutes with the ac off. My Bronco does not stay cool unless the ac is on.

New to the Bronco, but vehicles run lower engine temperature with the AC on than AC off because the fan turns on when the AC is on. With the AC off, fan turns on depending on lot of other variables like ambient temperature, coolant temperature, load, thermostat setting etc. and the algorithm may differ from manufacturer to manufacturer. On my Jeep JLUR XR, the thermostat opens up at around 226F engine temp. Oil temps when fully warmed up run about 5-10F higher than engine temps.
I had many Jeeps before getting the Bronco, and Jeeps (V6 Pentastar engine) imo run way hotter than my 2.7L Ecoboost specially the Wrangler JL XR (eq to Sas package).

I have noticed mine will run 195-205 maybe 210 pretty consistently with the top fully on/latched & AC on. In the same temps/driving type, but with the soft top back (position 1) and the AC off, I will more regularly see temps around 220. I have noticed a very consistent difference here. I think the extra drag from the soft top might add just enough resistance to make the engine work a lil harder and/or the AC being on/off also plays a part with the thermostat opening, and/or fan operation etc. I found it to be interesting how consistent it would run 10-15 degrees hotter when the top is back though, lol.
Mine consistently runs hotter with the A/C OFF. Colling fan is on all the time with A/C on. With no A/C, the colling fan does.not kick on until the collant is hot enough to see oil temp is up into the 230s.
