Hey broncbros!

quick question.

so I want to upgrade my base tires to 265/75r16. Buuuuuut… I see the recommended for that size is 16x8 up to x9. If I’m looking to get open country at3 tires which are recommended at least 16x8. What could the repercussions be?
Also.. if anyone has said screw it and bought the tire size I want, have you ran into any issues? This bronco is my daily so.. I don’t wanna be driving and my tire flies off lol

thanks in advance

I have 275/65r18s on stock OBX and no rubbing or interference at all. Try searching internet for “tire size calculator.com” there you are able to compare data and specs on stock size vs size u want. I can tell you that the 16s you mentioned are 1/2” smaller in diameter than 275/65r18s. So I honestly do not see an issue, I am in no way a tire expert.
