4WP offers the modified crash bars for sale apart from their level kit. I have ordered them to replace stock crash bars for when I install new tires (285/70/17) on my new OBX. My Bronco is in production and I have a sticker and blend date of Tuesday 9/7. Hope this helps. Sorry for the low res pic. I pulled it off of there website for a visual reference.
Price: $199
Status: In Stock as of 9/3
Part #: 4WP62213

Nice, but I don't think these are necessary for 33" or 285/70 tires, as that is what comes on the Badlands, which has stock crash bars.
If you go to 35" or 315/70 tires, you would need these for sure.

Thanks and that is what I have read as well. My thought is to provide extra clearance for now as well as future proofing if/when I put on larger tires.
