Hello everyone! I was doing some research on different builds and saw some people put 35s on stock suspension. Is this actually safe? would you guys recommend removing the crash bars to fit 35s ? What are the pros and cons of potentially doing this?

Thanks!

While the sasquatch doesn't have them from factory, the liability from an accident if someone gets hurt and they find out you removed a safety feature is too much for me to take on.

I wouldn't do it. I didn't do it on my ranger and while it held me to 33s I knew I wouldn't have risked insurance liability or hurting someone based on the removal of a safety feature.

I removed the crash bars and installed 35" tires on my 2-door base. No negative issues in terms of functionality. Vehicle handles fine, and the shifting is actually better from standing start with the manual trans (first gear was a bit short for the stock 30" tires).

But I think you'll find a very wide range of risk perception/tolerance from people on this site. For my part, safety concern over this change is very low.

If you are concerned about removing those 2 little pieces of metal (that the majority of ordered Broncos don't have), I suggest going with the 30" Base tires.

Even though our Sasquatch did not come with crash bars, I wanted them.
These are easy to install and fit with 35's.
The ad speaks about leveling your Bronco because these are part of a leveling kit.
This part of the kit will replace the factory crash bars with a set that is curved to allow the larger tires.

Thats so sick! Thanks! I'll definitely add this to my shopping list. Do you have these in your bronco? if so, let me see for reference <3

I don't have any way to really know if they do much for safety. But, I have a difficult time believing they can harm anything in the event of a crash.
