Just west of Tahoma. I've never been further west than Colorado, but I know how to use the internet.

Yep. And just east of the Rubicon. It’s a 4/10 difficulty. Couple sketchy spots but not too bad. Next month, we are hitting Signal Peak off of Eagle Lakes road, north of I-80.

A great day run trail for all. Great looking Bronco,we were up there last month with 8 Broncos and a stock Bronco sport.

Nice! Done the rubicon couple times about 13 years ago. I bet it’s really a challenge today

Do you think you lost clearance because of the skid plates? How much weight were you carrying?

Maybe 1/8" if that. Weight was minimal other than a small ice chest and a couple chairs. The winch plate/winch/fabfours add to the stock weight of course.

You don't realize how small my rig on SAS 35s looks compared to the Wildtrak on Methods (-12mm offset) and 37s. Big difference. Like "I'm getting kinda self-conscious thinking about it" difference. LOL.

Here's my rig on the left. The Rubicon and WT are both on 37s.

Yes. I’m not a big fan of banging and scraping. Even with skid plates. Then again, this is about as hard as I’m willing to go. It’s not like I’m doing Cadillac Hill or Fordyce anytime soon, if ever.

FJ did fine. He and 4 other Jeeps took the easier route up to Ellis Lake where we met for lunch. Then we all headed to the peak. Just me, the Rubicon, and the Wildtrak went all the way to the top.

A stock wrangler on 32’s made the trip all the way up when doing the recon a couple weeks ago so I’m sure the FJ would’ve been fine. The parking up top is minimal and peeps were tired at that point so we decided head out after we came down.

Also of note, the Trail Control mode was clutch coming down. Set it to 2.5mph and you don’t have to touch a pedal. Pretty cool IMO.
