I personally think it will have the same motors as the Bronco. 2.3 and 2.7 with the 3.0 for raptor. It would be something if they were to put the manual with the 2.3 in the ranger but I highly doubt it. It would be cool to see a ranger tremor with lockers front/rear and a sway bar disconnect and compete with the Jeep gladiator.

we saw a couple of them on the freeway near Detroit on our last trip downstate. They look much better than the present Ranger. Something about the Ford corporate car nose on a small truck makes the current Ranger disjointed.

Drove it while in South Africa a few years back. Loved it, like my Raptor more!

I like the facelift and see it as a good F150 substitute for those that don't need a full-sized truck.
What about the Honda Ridgeline?!

The front end of the Raptor looks great. But for those of us who won’t be in the market for a $60K+ mid-size truck, the pictures of all the other new Rangers we’ve seen so far don’t look promising.

I’m 90% certain I’ll be replacing my F150 in the next 4-5 years with a mid-size truck, and the newest Chevy, GMC, Toyota, and Nissan trucks all look pretty damn good, and I’m not going to buy a Ford if it looks like an old Explorer Sport Trac…

There were a couple getting tested at the Safari. Looks like a nice truck and not cartoonish like the Tacoma.

As long as it is flat towable, I'll be upgrading. Love my 5G Ranger, so 6G is in the running for my upgrade.

I am considering bailing on my bronco. Not a giant fan of the soft top. I wonder how much they are going to be? ZR2s start around 48k
