I got my Bronco badlands in December and started noticing the same issue my AC was not working properly and decided to ignore it for a while now the only way I can get cold air is in Lo temp if I move it to 62 all I get is basically a heater.
Honestly I am getting disappointed with all the quality issues this Bronco has had. To start it was missing a plastic cover near the rear Door, starting to get paint to bubble up due to rust inside the paint and now the AC. This car has less than 4 months with me. Waiting so long for it and all this issues is making me question getting it. I do love driving it and how it looks but Ford’s Quality does not seem to be a priority for them.
Hi Valerie. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.

I'm having the exact same issue. The A/C works only on the Lo temperature setting or on MAX A/C. Any manipulation of the temperature past Lo just blows hot air. @Ford Motor Company please help, thanks.

I’m having this issue as well and the dealership said it’s normal! Has anyone found out what the issue is and how to fix it? I told them I’m not the only one having an issue so clearly Ford needs to come up with a fix.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

I hope these don't suffer from the same AC issues (evaporator) that plague the S550 Mustangs....

Add me to the list. A/C went out on Sunday on my 2023 OBX with 10k miles. My local dealer advised the evaporator went out and the replacement part is hopefully about a week or so out. They gave me a loaner which was nice but what got me was when they said i need to come back in 20 days to redo the loaner paperwork. So a few weeks without my Bronco and the job itself is a bear. Just thinking of the removal of my dash, seat and anything else in the way has me stressed. I did not expect to have to go through a major repair after only driving it 3-4 months after waiting on the delayed factory order.

Ugh our just started acting up on our way to bronco super celebration. April 18. Started going warm then super cold. I really dislike the thought of them having to take the dash apart.

Add me, 2024 Black Diamond. bought In March 2025 brand new. Tried my AC for the first time a couple weeks ago and it didn't work. Brought to the dealer. They said it wasn't charged and they didn't find any leaks. Charged it. It worked the day I got it back... didn't use the Bronco for 4 days (was out of town). got in today, warm out. AC not working. Waiting to see what is next.. Not the dealership's fault, and I wish FORD would be behind this. A lot of people online have this issue.

Add me to the list. 2024 black diamond bought new in Feb 2025. It's going tomorrow for the FOURTH time?! I've heard, was charged from factory, a leak, a bad compressor...a second compressor as the first replacement was bad? Not sure what to do at this point After 4 visits? Lemon law?

I have to recharge mine every spring for some reason. Once I do, it blows cold all summer long. But come again next spring, it will need half a can of R1234... no idea where the leak is or why it only seems to be an issue in the winter when not operating the AC.

getting my 23 manual badlands back today.

it was diagnosed as total loss of refrigerant due to a crack in the evaporator at one of the mounting points.
they located the crack after charging the system and doing a dye test
fingers cross for a successful repair since they initially received an incorrect part

How did they find that crack without taking the dash apart? I'm several dye tests in and a new compressor.. I'm afraid this is coming next.. huge job.. you're entire interior will be removed and dash etc. Keep us posted and good luck.

the system was re-pressurized w/ dye and the dripping condensate was observed to be tinged w/ dye.

they removed the entire dash at that point and found the cracked evaporator.

the repair seems successful although selecting the foot vents still results in strong flow out of the window side vents instead of at the feet

the SA also mentioned mine was the third bronco they've replaced a cracked evaporator on under warranty. (they've also replaced 5 on recent rangers)
