If you haven't gotten an answer yet, the big bend and base/bd grilles are interchangeable with no issues.
I traded my wife's base for a big bend and neither party had issues.

On that note, the wife's now has a OBX grille and I have a BB sitting in my garage if anyone is interested in a trade.
