When/If I ever get my HE I'll use the Garmin Tread from my Jeep and a Garmin BC50 for a front camera. I have so many Topo/Land owner maps and POI's in my Garmin I plan to use it and not the Trail App.

Very cool, do you have pix of where you put the cameras in the different locations, how you control them, etc?

To control them, the turn signal turns on that side's camera, and holding down the steering wheel menu button for 5 seconds engages the front camera. Also, going from reverse to drive turns on the front for 8 seconds.

Awesome work.

Isn't pulling apart the IP just to get to that APIM connector fun? :)

Does the module allow for the full 360 view? also does the front camera turn on during any of your goat modes?

No you turn it on and off. And no each camera is individually displayed.
There are people that have upgraded their system with the actual 360 camera parts. That’s more labor intensive and expensive than this option though. This fits my needs!

Looks great but pulling apart that dashboard is a nogo for me. I resigned myself to a $50 Chinazon camera and a 4 inch monitor mounted in the upper left corner of the front shield. Works well enough to see what is in front.

All in all wasn't that bad, there's a great YT video showing how to take it off; used painter's tape to label which bolts came off of what. It wasn't even the hardest part, which was wiring.

I did the same upgrade last week. I love having the cameras. The install was a chore but worth it in the end.
