I would only pay more for a winch if it was a premium one. During my initial search I turned down a Bronco that was otherwise perfect save for the Badland winch on the front.

Isn't putting a winch on a little bit of an ordeal, e.g. sags in the front, maybe new springs needed, etc? You might offer to sell it with the Bronco but realistically add-ons don't increase the price unless you find the right buyer (out of hopefully more that don't care or don't want it).

I have a 2023 Bronco 2 door Big Bend Sasquatch. I have a 12000 Smittybuilt winch that fits the modular bumper already. Should I install it before putting it up for sale. I never installed it because we don’t go off-road to need carrying the additional 80 lbs. every day.

We have a 4 door Bronco Outer Banks with more room for our bigger family. Drive our Maverick most of the time. In our 70’s.

Like others have said, there is no aftermarket component that will increase the value of your vehicle for resale. In fact, anything you HAVE added, you may want to remove and offer up later, either to 'nudge' someone who is tetering on buying it, or on FB marketplace or even the classified here, if you're really trying to get every dime you can.

Okay, there's two ways to interpret the question: Worth more, more likely to get interest/sold.

Unless you're lucky enough to find someone wanting the same customization's you wanted (or you live in like Sand Hollow), add-ons can be a liability and rarely make it go for more than it would be worth without it. Trade-ins in fact usually explicitly ignore them. Someone in Fort Worth, for instance, bought a 2dr with $20k portals for like mid-30's cuz the portals didn't make it worth more and narrowed the available market.

Now, if you're somewhere that there's a lot of people looking for winches already installed, then maybe it's more likely to sell. I would mention you have one to bundle (they install) for X amount since you have it, that way you broaden the market but don't exclude those who don't want one or would want one but they'd go for the bundle. And of course you get something for it, and retain it for resale if the eventual buyer doesn't want it.
