Any audio experts? Crossovers not installed, are they needed?

I just upgraded my B&O system with Focal Flax 3 way component up front, Focal Flax coaxial in the rear pods, JL VX800/8i DSP Amp.
The installer did a full tune after install and showed me all the before and after curves, adjustments, etc.
I just got home and I was going through the boxes and noticed that the passive crossovers for the component speakers were not installed.
are they needed? Or because the amp provided adjustable high, low, and band pass filters, the crossovers were not necessary?
I have a separate JL amp running the sub as well, so all the speakers are on their own channel.
thanks!

Not needed if full active system with DSP crossover and amp channel for each speaker.

Besides tweeters would have died in a minute without some form of crossover.
