Looking for a good off-road/on-road set of tires with raised white letters (like the look paired with my Oxford white build). Anyone have any experience with GENERAL GRABBER ATX tires?

35’s. I’ve got Badlands Squatch build but I’m putting new wheels and tires and the GENERAL GRABBER ATX’s we’re well priced below most.

Interco has a fine selection of Super Swampers.

Those Thornbirds are such a great-wearing, super capable tire. Best I've ever used.
Had my CJ buried up to the bottom of the windshield in mud one time, came right out in 2WD.
And I ended up getting like 80K miles out of them.

*Entire above post is sarcasm.
While Thornbird looks like the nastiest, meanest tire ever, they really don't clean out well and wear down fast, even by Interco standards.

In all Sincerity if KO2 and the like are pricey, the Grabbers you can get cheaper, I'd stick with the Grabbers.
I also like the Coopers. Might want to give them a look.
So far so good on my M/T Deegan 38's. They are loud, jury is out on longevity yet.

I replaced the 32” 255/75/17 Bridgestone Duelers with 33” 285/70/17 Toyo Open Country A/T 3’s a few days ago on my (temporary 4dr BB) and I haven’t noticed any changes in road manners or noise……and they look much better.
Of course the true test will be where the blacktop ends, and the Wyoming winter is just a month or so away.

I haven't researched General lately, especially truck tires.
That being said, General had STELLAR reviews at Tirerack.com on two different models of car tires..one set was typical all seasons, the other was a more performance related set.
I ran both models on two different cars.
I freaking HATED BOTH after the first year.
The rubber stiffened up and they WOULD NOT grip on wet roads and it also effected the ride and made them very noisy.
The all seasons, I ran until they were getting thin, the performance ones I just ended up trashing and buying BFG all season performance tires and LOVED THEM!!!
So, yeah, I'm a bit gun shy about Generals.

Brands I like that have performed well for me.

Michelin - all types, Inc winters
BFG - truck and car tires
Firestone - truck tires
Bridgestone - Blizzaks

Several guys at work LOVE their Toyos and/or Nittos.
I'm going to try the Toyos this time around.

Cooper AT3XLT 285/70R17's is a good option.
I've had Cooper for years. AT3 AT3Lt's and a set of STT Pro on my F350.

Stop talking about my set-up! This specific tire/size is the sleeper tire of the year IMO.
Have this exact setup on my Land Cruiser now. Been a solid performer for highway plus trails.

Kind of have my heart set on some Cooper STT Pro 35's in raised white letter for my eventual Oxford White, though. Also ran them on a 4-Runner in the past, and they do well on road for a fairly aggressive mud terrain tire.
