Jeep Wrangler 4D base stick shift sales are nearly non-existent.They probably expected an insanely low take rate for the 4-door Base stick and chose not to even offer it.
Great answer, love when someone does the research.Jeep Wrangler 4D base stick shift sales are nearly non-existent.
People usually add on the auto and a hard top.
Base model buyers are price sensitive.
Ford undercuts Jeep $1900 by making the auto standard on the 4D.
Ford also beats out the 2D Base Wrangler. The buyers are usually more performance oriented and want a stick, by making the hard top standard and 1/2 doors built in.
Jeep doesn't even offer 1/2 doors anymore.
The hard top is $1600 on the base Wrangler, IIRC.
Thanks for the complement.Great answer, love when someone does the research.
They have corrected this on the website. See attached screenshots. 4DR Base now has manual transmission standard, so is no longer the good deal I thought it was.I know the major price difference explains how they pay for it, but just wondering why manual for a four door base isn’t available.
