Does anybody have plans to wrap their Bronco? My buddy has a sign, sticker and wrap business. Thinking about just clear wrapping the whole thing to battle pinstriping, which will undoubtedly happen out on the trails. Or are you guys just gonna rough it up and not care? Lol I'm kind of OCD about my vehicles, but still intend on taking the Bronco out in its natural habitat.

Havenā€™t decided yet... but maybe Iā€™ll get some ideas through this thread.

Iā€™m admittedly still a little behind the times when it comes to protecting my vehiclesā€¦ usually just wax them twice a year and call it a day.

But Iā€™ve been looking into wrapping or ceramic coatings for my future Bronco. I just donā€™t know enough about either of them to know if itā€™s worth the time/cost.

I like the idea of wrapping my bronco to have it stand out as my own.
I want to spend the $3500 and have it wrapped in sexy anime girls.

Thought of doing some subtle decaling on it, but not sure. I might consider the paint protection on the side instead.

Depends. Its usually $1,500-$2,000 for a single color on a car. I figured its going to be more for a larger SUV with custom images and stuff.

With the fairly straight body panels I am going to observe/help with the wrap. I've wrapped a few difficult body panels and hope to just be able to take over the wrap. Probably have him help me with the hood.

A really good wrap is usually more. I work with a lot of picture cars on shows and for picture quality it's like $5000 or more easily. Not sure I'd want a sign guy to do it, but that's your call.

Getting estimates tomorrow for clear vinyl- whole hood to doors or completely wrapped. Just donā€™t know about the ceramic coating on top of the vinyl- I mean itā€™s not a show vehicle. I will definitely get the ceramic tint. Had to ask dealer not to touch the tint or do vin etching. It was added to my cost, but easily removed.

I don't have to wrap mine because Ford already put cling wrap all over it before stuffing it into MAP Cold Storage next to Dolores and Bernard.

I keep my vehicles for a LONG time and plan to take the Bronco on some rugged trails. My brother-in-law owns a commercial window tint business and is in the know on things like PPF and ceramic coating vehicles. He told me that recent innovations in PPF have made big advancements (such as self-healing). He mentioned XPEL as one of the better options and also recommended ceramic coating on top of it for a deeper glossy look, extra protection for the paint and easy cleaning. Interestingly, he said the 3M is a bit behind on PPF right now.

I will be getting estimates for XPEL but will probably pass on the ceramic coating.
