Anybody run a 2.3 axle back exhaust on their 2.7?

I see some of the axle back exhausts from certain manufacturers are the same for the 2.3 and 2.7. Other brands have specific 2.3 vs 2.7 which looks like slight muffler differences. Has anyone installed a 2.3 specific axle back exhaust on a 2.7 truck? I'm guessing it would fit but sound different since the muffler is not specifically picked for it.

Which hanger location is different, the driver's side position or passenger side?

Driver side. I installed one for a 2.7 on a 2.3

Looks like the passenger side hanger is in a different location on the 2.3. Most of the systems use their own hanger bracket so it probably doesn't matter.
