circling back to this. Have you installed and tested the RC unit? I'm gonna put my stock unit back on if I don't find something soon.
If he is in the same boat as I am, still waiting for RC to get them back in stock. Ordered 4/8/23, still waiting.

Thanks so much for your reply. I'm hoping a soft top owner can post up results soon. I'm not rolling the dice on another exhaust until there is real world results posted.

Any chance you have received and installed? I've sold my FLowFX and was hoping to swap to the new one without stopping through a period of OEM. Alas with no feedback, I'm going back stock just to get the FX off and save the bucks for something that I know will be the right call for us soft top folks.

I have mine and like. I did an install video for the hanger bracket In this subgroup. That was the hardest part. I had bought a hanger bracket tool, so that was a snap. Just threading the bolts is hard, so supergluing a fish line to the end of the bolts made it a snap. You then feed everything on the line and that gives tension to bolt it down. Then cut the line flush.

At idle and maintaining speed, it is pretty quiet. Sports mode and WOT are fun. You have turbos and the converter muffling the straight exhaust, so it is not ridiculous. It is very throaty.

Thanks. Did you do the Rough Country dual exhaust or the muffler delete? No way in heck I want more sound. I'm running a FlowFX with a soft top and its too much. It gets a thumbs down from everyone that has been in my Bronco. Hard top guys I'm sure will love it since its bearable with the top fully laid back.

Are you looking to go loud? We've sold a few and it's loud enough for the price point. If you're looking for something more moderate we do have our offering here (cold start and drive-by videos are in the link):

CVF Cruiser Cat-Back Exhaust (2021-2023 Ford Bronco 2.3L/2.7L) – CV Fabrication (CVF)

Price includes shipping and taxes (we eat the cost) and you can get additional off giving me a shout via PM for a discount code!
This is for either the 2.3 or 2.7 correct? Sounds great!

I’d recommend finding whatever exhaust rough country copied and buy that one.

I'm torn between the RC and the FlowFX. I have a hardtop, but don't want to be waking up the neighbors (HOA is a pain). Honestly I debated the Outlaw, but I'm afraid it's too loud. Only thing about the FlowFX is it's not painted black so I'd have to do that. Any ideas how it may sound in the hard top? Have you talked to anyone with a hardtop that has one? Also so curious on the RC axle back, but I cannot for the life of me find anyone posting about it...for $400 I'm tempted

first don’t even worry about color, you can’t see these, they are tucked up tightly. Exhaust coatings suck anyway.

The stainless flowFX with black tips looked really good. Be warned, it’s freaking loud. The can is so small there is practically no baffling. My suggestion. Take the stock muffler off and take a rip, it will approximate what you are about to get into sound wise. I miss this for short in town jaunts, but I’ve been driving the Bronco more since I put the stock unit back on. It’s just more enjoyable. Where are you located? I’ll likely list my Flow FX locally since they cost a bit to ship.

I’m hoping someone really does a good review of the RC exhaust since the can looks to be substantial enough to provide sound deadening while still have a sail outlet. I want 3-4db that’s deep. The 2.7 is raspy so, it’s really hard to make them sound good.

Good to know on color, THANK YOU!

The FlowFX is as loud as the outlaw you think?! Outlaw sounds like a 250 Merc on a bass boat starting up....I thought FlowFX was supposed to be quieter

Dang...do I just do the RC so I can be the first one to write the review. Rough Country where you at to sponsor an install and full write up šŸ˜‚

please for the love all saints do the review. I’ve asked countless times for people to provide before and after sound numbers and all I ever get is ā€œsounds good.ā€

Any iPhone or Apple Watch is capable
Of providing real sound data. I won’t sling another dollar at an exhaust until someone does a sound test.

Flow FX: 83-90db at the steering wheel with the top up, windows up, radio off, doing 75mph with the FlowFX is not cool, it’s annoying. The range is from part throttle to mid throttle depending on changing gears and RPM.
