The F150 guys have gained the benefit of Hitch View with FORScan changes in their last update. Has anyone tried to activate in a Bronco?

I understand it’s changes in the IPMA and APIM but that’s all that I know so far.

I know of an F150 that only has a reverse camera yet gets three views; reverse, wide & hitch, with that single camera. This was after activating the feature in FORScan on the 2021 F150

Cam is in the spare. No line of sight for a hitch view. At least that’s how I see it.

Maybe everyone has this, maybe it came with the tow package but my reverse view has dotted lines in the center to align a hitch. If you press the plus button it zooms in on the area directly behind the truck.

I have 3 choices in the reverse view. Regular, wide, and center zoom.

I went to my Bronco today and played with the camera and I believe the zoomed in view on the camera when you tap the + button is what Ford considers to be the hitch view. What the new FORScan changes have enabled on the F150's is for that view to appear when you tap the camera button while in motion, moving forward.

I will take a look at my as-builts and compare them to the info my buddy has on his F150 and see how they compare. Perhaps this rear view is a thing we can activate and perhaps it isn't.

the tow package view mentioned with the dashed line alignment to your hitch is very good. I haven't zoomed and the image is quality enough to align the hitch fine
